A long day yielded a pretty good rehearsal. It wasn't the best, but we did a pretty good job on act one. We opted to rehearse the end of act two, if only because it's the part of the play we've rehearsed least.
In total, I saw my son for about three minutes this evening. It's hard, but I keep reminding myself that it's only temporary, and this will all be worth it... as long as I keep studying my lines.
(The title comes from our director's summation of how we did on act one. "Not great, but how do they say it in the stock market? "Outperformed expectations?")
