My pet project for the day was repainting a concrete statue of a squirrel that we found when we moved into the house. It's at the far right side of the first picture. The second picture is from today before I started, and the third picture is the finished product.

Thursday Evening Post.
I did the most I could today, even though I broke my promise/pledge to do nothing. I studied lines by the pool. I discovered I can scrape off a lot of the paint on the coping of the pool, which will save time and money. I cleaned out my car. And I had a really good day with my son. He's such a funny, affectionate kid. He's not feeling well (a cold), and he's passed it on to Steph, who is considering trephination as a cure. I finished the evening by going to my first Thursday play rehearsal in years. It wasn't an easy one, and I am disappointed in myself, but I know how much farther I have to go. Hopefully I can do some good study sessions in the next few days, and be ready for Monday.
